JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Safety Officer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment by promoting a culture of safety, conducting regular inspections, and implementing safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Provide safety training and workshops for all employees
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Collaborate with management to promote a positive safety culture
- Prepare safety documentation and reports for regulatory agencies and SOPs
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance
- Assist in emergency response planning and training
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree. Degree in occupational health and safety will be an advantage- Working on RTA PROJECTS EXPERIENCE is mandatory
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a safety officer role, preferably in the ROADS AND INFRASTRUCTURE
- Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct training and presentations effectively (Holding trainer certification will be an advantage)
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is mandatory
