JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all safety regulations, promote a culture of safety on site, and help mitigate risks to protect our workforce and assets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety standards.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to all site personnel.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local safety regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Prepare and submit reports on safety performance and incidents.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety protocols.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment on site.
Requirements:
- Holds Diploma Certificate.- Minimum 5 years’ experience in GCC.
- Holds NEBOSH Certificate.
- Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
