JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- Lead the 22 key battery distributors in 15 markets (10 Middle East and 5 Africa) to complete business plan with focused and targeted action plan to achieve the battery sales target & implement sales campaign and promotion.
- Royalty : Maximize GM’s remuneration (annual marketing fee)
- Battery sales unit: Establish and achieve unit sales goal and revenues target as well as Inventory goal
- Customer Sales Forecast: Establish and achieve customer target in all markets
- Africa Distribution: Establish and achieve Africa distribution network
- 5 Years Plan: Develop sales & marketing budget as well as 5 years strategic business plan

Organization:
- Work on cross functional GM , MEBCO and Johnson Controls (JCI)
- MEBCO local management including the General Manager, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and supply chain(PC&L) as well as with JCI management in Europe and the MEBCO Board of Directors
- 7 MEBCO headcount in Sales & Marketing dept.

Counsel with battery distributors on the overall performance , including but not limited to:
- Battery sales objectives
- Planned production volume
- Efficient stock management
- Effective use of sales & marketing budget
- Monitor Lead prices

- Maintain, update, and obtain dealer buy-off and agreement on battery sales and production forecasts (SSOR - Sales Stock Order Report).
- Set Volume Discussion meetings w/ dealers to finalize and agree on future CY sales and production volume targets utilizing the SSOR tool.
- Ensure each dealer orders enough battery units to ensure sufficient inventory
- Submit, on time, accurate and detailed dealer contact report after every dealer visit (one contact report per dealer visit).
- Travel extensively and be in the field with battery distributors

REQUIREMENTS

- College degree preferably in business
- One to five years of professional experience in automotive sales/consulting experience

Knowledge and Experience:
- Automotive industry experience preferred
- Business Management knowledge
- High level of Knowledge of the sales disciplines and market dynamic from a variety of perspectives

Skills:
- Must be Arabic speaking
- Written and oral skills in both Arabic & English, and preferably French language
- Interpersonal skills required for internal and external relationships
- Analytical skills to be able to interpret data
- Problem solving skills to identify and resolve problems
- Very good project management skills to manage own projects and tasks
- Business Planning and Customer Relationship Management
- Ability to set targets and forecasts
- Highly confident and self-motivate
