Sales Coordinator

Coordinating the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information. Ensuring the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material. Responding to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.

What you will be doing:

- Represents the image, strategy and priorities of the Sales and Marketing Department and the Director of Sales and Marketing in particular, within the department itself and externally.
- Participates to the Team Spirit at all times in a positive way.
- Ensures guests are given the highest possible professional service.
- Maintains effective communication with all related departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Coordinates directly with relative Sales Executives and Sales Managers and other departments when needed. Handle all incoming calls and emails related to MICE groups and Leisure Groups inquiries to ensure that all leads are addressed.
- Assess the requirements and the competition for each group lead before sending a proposal to the client.
- Analyse group requests, check the availability in the respective hotels, block rooms & space, prepare and send group quotations.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates for the Group log and that all leads are tracked and followed up on.
- Upload all group room blocks and their event requirements in Opera system.
- Audit the market segments for each blocks created.
- To attend the departmental briefings, Sales Blitz, telesales activities etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Your experience and skills include:

- Relevant sales experience is an asset
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
