Sales Director - Middle East
The Role
To help grow the business in the Middle East and Africa, seeking to bring on board a high calibre Sales Director with a proven track record in developing high-value accounts in U.A.E.
Primary Responsibilities
• Work with the MD/ CEO and be part of the team in implementing the company's strategic business plan.
• Identify business opportunities and grow a pipeline. Convert the pipeline to orders.
• Meet and exceed targets set for growing the pipeline and orders.
• Networking with the industry.
• Establish an excellent rapport with the team, potential customers and clients.
• Develop close relationships with key accounts to ensure:
• Client satisfaction
• Retention
• Growth
• Refined presentation and communication skills with confidence in a board room environment.
• Work with the teams in a collaborative manner to create effective proposals for clients.
• Working with the Managing Director/ CEO to build the annual business plan.
• Some administrative tasks.
Strategic Alignment
• Develop & maintain a deep understanding of Business, its Market, its Market Proposition, its products and key current and planned initiatives.
• Ensure that the sales & solutions approach is appropriately aligned to the objectives of the business.
Sales: Qualitative & Quantitative
• Maintain and improve on the positive reputation of the company.
• Maintain and improve the profitability of the company from a Gross margin perspective.
• Recommend improvements to the processes and procedures on an ongoing basis.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need the following
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Business Development and Account.
• Management, strategic account management or Client Relationship Management.
• Track record of delivering sales orders is essential.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Ability to grasp technical concepts, ideally with a history of technical selling.
• Degree in Engineering, marketing or business management will be preferable although not essential.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills required.
• Senior level account management experience.
• Experience within Building Service in the Commercial Property sector preferable.
• Wide Network already established in the top level of Building Property Groups is advantageous.
• A proven 'self-starter' capable of operating autonomously with limited support.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Development / Sales / Account Management.
• Good experience in IT and IOT for Smart Building services.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
