About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated regional sales engineer to lead commercial growth across the MENA region for a global leader in advanced energy and technology solutions.
This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, where technical excellence meets customer success. The successful candidate will combine engineering knowledge with strong commercial acumen to deliver value-driven solutions and accelerate growth across diverse energy and industrial markets.
You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan, driving new business development, strengthening key relationships, and achieving revenue targets across territories including KSA, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon, and Libya.
Key responsibilities
- Lead sales initiatives to expand the company’s footprint across the MENA region.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through strategic account management and proactive prospecting.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships, delivering tailored technical solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to address specific customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Provide market insights and feedback to influence future product development.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM updates, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in technical sales or business development within industrial, technology, or energy sectors.
- Proven record of achieving sales growth across multinational or cross-border markets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with high energy, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the MENA region.
- Eligibility for security clearance (preferred).
