JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Key responsibilities:
• Identifies market opportunities for trading and distribution of chemicals and petrochemicals.
• Continuously review the market for new business opportunities and activities and generate profitable business prepositions.
• To prepare sales plans and secure orders for the Company’s products, solutions and services, and to achieve the annual sales and income target as assigned by the Department Manager.
• Participates in evaluating and developing projects.
• Provides local industry information and analysis to management.
• Responsibility for delivering growth as new business in Chemical industry. Pro-actively meet (potential) customers in order to obtain/maintain business
• Improve the profitability with the customer through winning new, additional (multi product) opportunities .
• responsible for development and maintenance of positive portfolio of trades. Manage cashflow and inventory for their portfolio properly and update the finance team weekly basis.
• Negotiate and finalize agreements on new services, pricing, service levels etc.
• Create and maintain visibility of sales pipeline and activity / results reporting
• Support operational implementation and handover to operations once the business has been landed
• Identify opportunities for additional product development and commercial positioning with new customers
• Ensure contracts and agreements for specific customer solutions are validated and signed off (service agreements, credit agreements, supplier contracts, etc.) as per corporate guidelines
• Completion of entire trade cycle and relevant documents in ERP.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for
• Proven +3 years Chemical logistics and Sales experience in GCC and United Arab Emirates
• Demonstrated results – performance with top Chemical customers.
• Experience from United Arab Emirates market is desirable.
• Ability to effectively build sales pipeline from historical market relationship
• Experienced with the Chemical industry in GCC and related Complex supply chains models
• Solid experience of Chemical logistics sales required
• Proximity to Technology aspect and latest supply chain modules and trends
• A strong continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Self motivated, who can complete tasks without supervision and who can evaluate and manage risks appropriately
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong and current knowledge of the Chemical customers
