Sales Manager (Broadcast & Media).7
Job purpose
The purpose of this position is to directly and proactively engage with customers by providing pre-sales consultation, explore and capture the requirements of the customer in order to design and propose products, services and solutions as a strong and competitive proposition to the customer. The role holder creates the proposition upon evaluating existing products and services and /or sourcing other solutions from external business and technology partners in order to meet the customers' business need.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
Minimum experience:
• Minimum 7 - 12 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Sales / Project Management / Technology role
• Experience in Satellite & Broadcast related products
Minimum education:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing/ Telecommunications /Engineering or any relevant field
Knowledge and skills:
• High standard of Telecommunication product and service knowledge (Satellite & Broadcast a must)
• PC skills (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint) required; experience with product development specific software required
• Able to interact and build relationships with individuals across all levels and areas of the firm.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Exceptional communication skills required.
• Experience with formalized project documentation preferred (requirements definition, training manuals, etc.)
