This opportunity is with a renowned Multinational company with an office based in Dubai.
As Sales Manager for printing and packaging, you will optimize the sales target, acquire new clients, and coordinate the marketing programs and activities with marketing manager. The role will involve measuring sales performance. Involved are processes of planning, coordination, implementation, control then evaluation. The focus mainly would be revenue generation and profits. Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be analyzed by the given role so there would be steps taken to effectively optimize selling approach. This responsibility covers management of sales life cycle, specifications of market requirements or doing active market research, and attaining good close relationship with agents. While developing metrics, you should produce accurate sale forecasts and market development reports. Communication with sales team is extremely vital, same goes with the company managers from other departments, executives that guide the company, and business clients. Expanding the client base is one of the tasks of a sales manager. You should be able to discuss key points when succeeding or failing to improve sales strategies or develop new ones.
To be successful, you would ideally possess at least 7 years of experience in sales management specifically having relations with the corrugation process. Packaging and printing experience is essential. So is the knowledge on assembling a product up until the final part of finishing the packaging. Additional experiences include logistics, transport systems and warehousing. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business law, finance, marketing, communications economics, accounting, or statistics will serve as a specified base. You should have experience in industries of labelling, be agile and accountable with continuous improvements in problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making. Strong communications skills, both oral and written, will prove to be helpful in the long run. Leadership skills will allow you to set up a good example and guide for others to follow. Setting sales goals should also be your priority.
To be a suitable candidate, you should also be well-knowledgeable in prospecting, partnerships, forecasting, and customer research. You should develop skills in active listening, sales planning and social selling, collaboration, time management, and organization.
Experience in ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving customer issues should come in handy. The sales manager should also be able to train or coach involved sales staff and provide them feedback.
