JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Adecco is currently looking for SAP & MM Ariba Consultant for our client based in Abu Dhabi.
The consultant will be responsible for managing and maintaining the procurement (S/4 HANA MM) and Ariba modules, providing technical support for procurement-related issues and resolving incidents. As part of this work, the consultant will be expected to identify business pain points and recurring issues, to propose resolutions, and to implement the approved solutions.
In addition, the consultant will have the opportunity to contribute to the on-going S/4 implementation program. Tasks may include the reviewing of FSDs, the completion of testing tasks, and the reviewing of testing evidence. The consultant may also be asked to contribute to functional design documents for S2P custom objects and enhancements.
Responsibilities include:
• Provide technical support for the procurement and Ariba modules, including troubleshooting and issue resolution for both end-users and technical team members.
• Work closely with end-users and other stakeholders to understand and address their procurement-related needs. This includes providing recommendations to improve the procurement process and identifying areas for system optimization.
• Provide support for procurement and Ariba-related requests, including assistance with user account management, system access, and defects resolution.
• Work with technical team members to identify and prioritize requests for system enhancements.
• Manage and maintain procurement and Ariba applications, including configuration and customization of the applications to meet the needs of the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program delivery efforts, including testing, training, and documentation. This includes working with the technical team to ensure that the procurement and Ariba modules are properly integrated with other enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to procurement and Ariba modules. This includes creating functional specification documents and system documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to procurement and Ariba modules. This includes attending training sessions and conferences, as well as participating in professional development opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
• SAP S/4 HANA MM module
• Fiori and catalogue management
• Ariba cloud
• SAP Solution manager for transport management
EXPERIENCE
• Experience in SAP Ariba upstream deployment projects and template rollout projects, including knowledge of integration between Ariba and S/4 HANA systems (Master Data and transactional data)
• Solid practical knowledge of S2P business processes including but not limited to direct & indirect procurement, external service procurement, subcontracting, material requirement planning and automatic procurement, contracts and sourcing management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement/ Ariba technical support and implementation
KEY SKILLS
• Ability to perform MM S/4 HANA configuration and customizing, e.g., as flexible workflow setup, pricing determination procedure , setting MM organizational structure and document type, material master and number ranges
• Ability to perform Ariba upstream configuration including template configuration/ amendment, Ariba approval workflow setup, project and template administration, Admin data import-export
• Good understanding of the integration points across SAP modules specifically the integration points across MM-IM-QM-PM-PP-FICO
• Understanding of availability requirements and ability to manage SAP material master setup and Ariba APIs, web services, and data exchange protocols.
• S/4 HANA, Fiori and Ariba security and access controls.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in information science, engineering or other technical/ scientific disciplines
