*** Scaffolding / Formwork Manager ***
UAE Building & Civil Engineering Contractor with various Divisions.
Their busy construction sector is seeking to appoint a Scaffolding Manager to be based in Dubai.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Shall have the capability of estimating manpower and material requirement up to quotation level
Shall have good knowledge of preparing Method Statement & Risk Assessment for each jobs as per their specific needs
Shall have good knowledge of Scaff Build Techniques, Ladder Specifications, Base Height Ratio, Guardrail Height, Toe Board, Loading Classification etc
Shall implement Inspection Tagging System to ensure the integrity of variuos types of scaffolds like Independent Access Scaffolds, Birdcage Scaffolds, Hanging Scaffolds, Truss-Out Scaffolds, Cantilever Scaffolds, Tower Scaffolds, Hoist Towers and Loading Bays
REQUIREMENTS
Background sought:
Experience of Managing a Scaffolding Contract on multi million Projects - High Rise Structures , Bridges , Airports.
You must be fully conversant with Microsoft Word & Excel. This is a project based role but will involve visiting clients and managing all aspects within scaffolding.
Engineering Degree Qualified.
