What you will be doing:
Ensure the safety of guests, suppliers, visitors, contractors, and employees and property by actively monitoring the premises and responding to incidents promptly and appropriately
Assist in responding to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and other critical situations, following established safety procedures
Keep the cluster health & safety officer and cluster director of security informed of all safety related matters
Liaise with management personnel and all employees and assist with safety concerns
Liaise with local law enforcement and fire & safety officials if required
Maintain proper grooming at all times
Inspect lobbies, corridors, guest floors, public areas, and outside, including parking area
Inspect public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and conditions of safety equipment
Provide assistance and support to guests, addressing their safety concerns and inquiries professionally and courteously
Notify concerned department head of presence of persons with questionable reputations
Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations
Comply and record data for safety control
Investigate and document all incidents, accidents, and safety-related activities in a clear and concise manner, maintaining accurate records
Ensure all fire safety equipment is at the designated places and is serviceable at all times
Ensure all fire exits and stairs are clear from obstruction at all times
Report complaints or problems to cluster health & safety officer and cluster director of security if no immediate solution can be found
Ensure a high level of product knowledge of hotel and local areas
Ensure a high level of customer service is consistently maintained
Ensure the cluster health & safety officer and cluster director of security is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either customers or other departments
Read all memos concerning safety
Attend training sessions as scheduled to improve skills and knowledge
At the end of the shift or the day, communicate all information that the next shift or the cluster health & safety officer and cluster director of security has to know for a well running of the operations
Provide safety related trainings to the departments and contractors as assigned by cluster health & safety officer
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in hotel is preferred
Experience in the GCC and/or Middle East region is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required

Job description
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented security officer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a security officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets.
Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security risks
Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies
Operate and monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems
Maintain accurate logs of all security-related activities and incidents
Assist in the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and assertive demeanor
Conduct security screenings of personnel, vehicles, and packages as required
Participate in regular security training and drills to stay updated on best practices
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in the security industry, preferably in a corporate setting
Valid security license recognized in the United Arab Emirates
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Excellent attention to detail and observation skills
Proven ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role
First Aid certification (preferred)
Knowledge of modern security equipment and technologies
Familiarity with UAE laws and regulations related to security operations
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in emergency situations
Proficiency in using computer systems for report writing and communication
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
