Senior Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the property management, maintenance & real estate industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment within our organization located in Sharjah, UAE.

Responsibilities:
- Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Manage vendor accounts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in month-end closing processes and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed
- Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in the property management or real estate industry
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, particularly related to property management and real estate transactions
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting deadlines

Salary:
AED 12,000 to 16,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
