JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are actively searching for a Senior Analyst - Financial Analyst and Reporting to join a large investment firm in Abu Dhabi. Reporting directly to the Sr. Finance Manager, the Senior Analyst - Financial Analysis and Reporting will be interacting with management at all levels within the organization to prepare comprehensive financial analyses, reports and budgets at the corporate group level. The role will also be providing support and assistance to the different businesses under the Group relating to the analysis of financial data.

• Works with various stakeholders in the budgeting, planning and forecasting exercise; presents the estimates to Executive Management
• Coordinates with the different business teams for financial information and operational data required for reporting purpose
• Analyses monthly financials and their impact to the Group’s overall financial position as well as observed trends and provides recommendations based on these analysis
• Evaluates business models, highlights areas of concern and ensures projections are consistent with the Group’s expectation
• Prepares financial performance reports for the Executive Management on all business verticals and projects and other ad hoc management reports as need
• Uses business intelligence tool/s to extract and analyse data for financial and management reporting
• Provides financial analysis, reporting and operational support to the businesses under the Group

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, you need to meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Must have a Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) certification or other relevant professional qualifications
• Prior work experience in a corporate group setting
• A very good understanding of financial statements
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Exceptionally good in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Must have strong commercial acumen coupled with initiative and drive
