Expensia International is a leading global design and development firm specializing in hospitality, real estate, and commercial projects. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a Senior Architect to be based in Dubai as part of our dynamic new design team. This role will focus on large-scale hotel, resort, master planning, and real estate development projects, primarily in Madagascar.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and creative Senior Architect who will play a key role in leading design projects, from concept to execution. The ideal candidate should have a multidisciplinary background, combining expertise in different project scales, from civil and structural design to fine detailing in interior design and conceptualization. This position requires an individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is open to international travel.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead architectural design for large-scale hospitality and real estate projects, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions.
• Develop conceptual and schematic designs, collaborating closely with interior designers and project teams.
• Ensure structural integrity while integrating aesthetic and functional design elements.
• Prepare and present detailed design drawings, renderings, and technical documentation.
• Oversee project coordination between clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers.
• Conduct site visits, assess project progress, and ensure adherence to design standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders, requiring strong communication and leadership skills.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills• Indispensable to share Portfolio file or link
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• 10+ years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio in hotels, resorts, luxury real estate projects, and interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Photoshop, 3D modeling, AI tools, and rendering software.
• French-speaking candidate preferred (English proficiency required).
• Experience working in international environments; knowledge of African, Middle Eastern, and Asian suppliers is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
