JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Citrix System Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Citrix environments and Nutanix infrastructure, with proven technical expertise and relevant certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments.
• Administer and maintain Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI).
• Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix and Nutanix-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and cloud integration projects.
• Monitor systems and proactively recommend improvements and best practices.
• Ensure security, compliance, and proper documentation of infrastructure components.
• Vendor Management
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in Citrix administration and engineering roles.• Strong hands-on experience with Citrix CVAD, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of Nutanix AHV and Prism management.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• A Master’s degree or additional coursework in IT infrastructure or cloud computing is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred/Required):
• Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V) or Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V)
• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional (NCAP)
