Senior Civil Structural Engineer

Job responsibilities:

Lead and perform structural analysis and design for concrete and steel structures in compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes), and project specifications.
Develop and review design deliverables such as calculations, design reports, material take-offs (MTOs), GA and detail drawings, and technical specifications.
Perform structural modeling and analysis using MAT3D and FOUNDATION software, ensuring optimization of design and cost-efficiency.
Provide input to geotechnical and civil interfaces including foundation loads, grading, and earthwork requirements.
Coordinate closely with civil, piping, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure design integrity and interface consistency.
Participate in model reviews, HAZID/HAZOP workshops, and constructability assessments.
Prepare and respond to technical queries (TQ), vendor documents, and client comments.
Ensure timely delivery of engineering documents in line with project schedules and milestones.
Support site teams during construction and respond to RFIs, site queries, and as-built documentation reviews.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a minimum of 5 years in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong experience working on ADNOC or other GCC-based oil and gas projects.
• Proven experience in FEED and Detailed Design phases for onshore industrial projects.
• Proficient in MAT3D and Bentley FOUNDATION software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D model navigation tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards and work processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng, PE, or equivalent) is advantageous.
• HSE certification (IOSH, NEBOSH) is a plus.
