Overview

Kintec has been exclusively selected to support a prominent regional organization in Abu Dhabi, known for delivering full-spectrum EPC solutions across marine infrastructure, offshore energy, and dredging. This is an exciting, tax-free opportunity for permanent residential staff roles in the UAE, offering a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm. Position summary

We are looking for a Senior Construction Engineer to take a leading role in offshore project execution, supporting and guiding Construction Engineers while reporting to the Offshore Construction Manager.


Key responsibilities

  • Support Offshore Construction Manager in developing offshore execution strategies and plans.
  • Lead constructability reviews and optimise offshore installation costs.
  • Oversee procurement requirements and ensure material readiness.
  • Provide input for weekly and monthly reports and attend client meetings.
  • Liaise with third-party agencies, surveyors, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct HSE and quality audits, supporting continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate offshore schedules, mobilization and demobilization, and subcontractor performance.
  • Support project close-out documentation and reporting.

  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Naval preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years of offshore construction experience.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of offshore operations, personnel, and equipment.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
