JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Manager to lead and oversee high-rise building construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within time, budget, and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all phases of high-rise construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications; identify risks and propose timely solutions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and project resources in coordination with relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and present updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and enforce contractual obligations.
• Identify construction issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols on-site.
Requirements:
Required Skills & Competencies:• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, high-rise building systems, and engineering principles.
• Proficiency in project management tools, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and work in fast-paced project environments.
Preferred Experience
• Proven experience managing high-rise residential or commercial towers in the UAE or GCC region.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
