Partner with Cerner clients for integrated technology deployment of hardware, software, and services.

We are looking for an Integrated Technologies Consultant to join our International Consulting team in the Cerner U.A.E. The Integrated Technologies Consultant is responsible for partnering with Cerner clients for integrated technology deployment of Cerner solutions, layered software, and infrastructure.

As an Integrated Technologies Consultant II, you will maintain and strengthen client relationships, successfully navigating through conflict and complex relationship situations. You will advise clients and internal project teams on complex technical architecture decisions, including proactively guiding clients through interdependencies and decision impacts, to deploy integrated hardware, software, and devices. You will consult on third-party integrations and apply best practices when integrating with core Cerner products for aligned clients. You will influence the continuous improvement of delivery workflows, best practices, and strategies for client hardware, software, hardware/OS upgrades, and device installations. You will perform advanced technical troubleshooting and deployment issue resolution, escalating as appropriate. You will drive team initiatives and participate in broader organizational or cross-functional initiatives. You will be assigned to multiple client engagements and will be expected to cultivate effective client relationships and planning across these clients as well as manage these multiple work assignments and meet utilization targets. Managing priorities and communicating of client expectations and progress is expected.

REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business, Electrical Engineering, Health Care, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Science, or related field, or 4 years equivalent relevant work experience, plus;
- 2 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
- At least 1 year of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Linux Operating Systems
- Experience in load-balanced environments
- Operation of large, complex applications
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
- Experience working with Cerner products like Millennium, CareAware iBus, Business Continuity
- Sound understanding of basic networking principles
- Experience working with medical imaging devices is an advantage
- Experience working for/with a medical device manufacturer is an advantage

Expectations

- Ability to travel up to 80%
- Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Fluent in English
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, learn on the fly, and critical thinking.
- Ability to manage objections and drive to group consensus.
