Senior Corporate Lawyer - Leading Law Firm - Dubai (DIFC)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our prestigious law firm in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of corporate law and regulations, and will be responsible for providing strategic legal counsel to our clients on complex corporate transactions and compliance issues. Responsibilities:
• Advise clients on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex corporate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect client interests.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and provide guidance on risk management strategies.
• Represent clients in corporate and commercial disputes, negotiating settlements and conducting litigation as necessary.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting corporate practices.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, providing tailored legal solutions that align with their business objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues from other practice areas to provide comprehensive legal support to clients.
Requirements:
• Jurist Doctorate (JD) or equivalent legal qualification from a recognized institution.• A minimum of 6-10 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proven track record of providing strategic legal advice that positively impacts business outcomes.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
Salary:
AED
30,000 to 55,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Executive search involves working with a third party, such as JEX Personnel.
Executive search is relationship driven. JEX Personnel will work closely with you to understand the requirements of the role. It is a research-led approach, meaning a search firm will be paid a retainer fee upfront to carry out analyse the marketplace and benchmark for skills/roles and salaries.
A search firm will tend to have extensive knowledge of and access to board directors and senior executives across industries and functions, allowing them to build a large pool of top executive talent
