JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Join a prestigious top-ranked law firm in Dubai as a Senior Corporate Lawyer. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with leading clients on complex corporate transactions while advising on legal strategies and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The successful candidate will be able to leverage their expertise to contribute significantly to the firm's growth and development in the MENA region.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on corporate law matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and commercial contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate documents and agreements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence for M&A transactions and corporate restructuring.
- Advise clients on compliance with local laws and regulations, including company formation and governance.
- Represent clients in negotiations and discussions with external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on legal developments relevant to corporate law and actively share insights with the team.
- Mentor and support junior lawyers and interns in their professional development.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contribute to business development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with at least 6 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a reputable law firm.- Strong understanding of corporate and commercial law principles, regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal transactions and advise high-profile clients.
- Proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Needs to have experience in the UAE and, ideally, be already based there.
Salary:
AED
45,000 to 60,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
