JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to drive data-driven decision-making across various business areas. You will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic initiatives and contribute to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement complex data models and algorithms to analyze large datasets.
- Utilize machine learning techniques to create predictive models and solve business challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Conduct data analysis and visualization to communicate findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation through data mining and analysis.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science to keep the organization competitive.
Requirements:
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Scientist, with a strong portfolio of projects and successful implementations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and data manipulation tools like SQL.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to present findings.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
