Senior Dispute Lawyer - US International Law Firm - Dubai

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dispute Lawyer to join our prestigious US International Law Firm in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling complex legal disputes and providing strategic legal advice to our clients in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to advance their career in a dynamic and international setting.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of complex legal disputes related to construction projects, including delay claims, payment disputes, and contract interpretation issues.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients, including risk assessment and dispute resolution strategies.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including other lawyers, experts, and consultants, to develop effective legal strategies and achieve successful outcomes for clients.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and industry trends related to construction law and dispute resolution.
- Contribute to the development of junior lawyers through mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Salary:
GBP 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of practice, preferably in the US or UK.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law with a focus on dispute resolution, preferably in a reputable international law firm or construction-related practice.
- Proven track record of successfully handling complex legal disputes related to construction projects, including experience in arbitration and litigation.
- Strong understanding of construction law, contract law, and dispute resolution processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
