Position Overview:
The Sr. Dry Utilities Engineer plays a vital role in planning, designing, and managing dry utility infrastructure, including electrical and telecommunications systems. This role requires a strong understanding of utility systems, compliance with regulations, and project management skills to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing master plans from Concept stage to Detailed Master Plan stage in terms of HV, LV, Road lighting, Telecommunication, and ICT utility corridor space proofing, defining ROW requirements, coordination with wet utilities, road team, and building design teams.
• DEWA Master planning, load approval, Building NOC, and Getting Electricity fully aware of Preparing and reviewing all documents required and the submission procedure.
• Design of Road Lighting for all type of roads, Under Bridge lighting, Tunnel lighting, Lighting Calculations using Dialux and other software, SLDs, Voltage Drop, etc.
• Conducts thorough reviews of contract drawings, specifications, and supplier submittals, offering valuable feedback on the outcomes.
• Manages the technical bid analyses of supplier drawing submissions, ensuring comprehensive evaluations.
• Preparing Clarifications to Contractor RFIs, Review/approve key technical submittals related to electrical works and dry utilities.
• Prepares and issues detailed specifications, data sheets, and construction documents, maintaining high standards of accuracy and clarity.
• Provides expert technical guidance to CAD designers/drafters, designers, and engineers within the project team.
• Takes charge of overseeing and coordinating the activities of the entire electrical engineering staff, collaborating closely with the Infrastructure Team Leader.
• Acts as the key liaison between design consultants, construction contractors, and the project team, conducting design reviews and resolving construction-related issues related to electrical systems.
• Approval from DM / RTA would be added advantage. Registration with DEWA as electrical engineer will be also considered as an added advantage.
• Demonstrates in-depth understanding of relevant codes and regulations, overseeing the application of design standards and liaising with local agencies for necessary approvals.
• Offers advice to senior management personnel on engineering-related matters, serving in an advisory capacity.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of the project's electrical specifications, drawings, and design criteria, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Provides regular progress reports and communicates staffing requirements effectively to the Infrastructure Team Leader.
• Prepares comprehensive reports as needed, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance.
• Enforces strict adherence to corporate, contractual, ethical, and safety standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring a culture of compliance and professionalism.
• Undertakes additional responsibilities associated with this position as deemed appropriate, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
