JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Constant change, high levels of attention to detail and exceptional prioritisation skills are required for this Senior Executive Assistant role to support a global Executive Board member with all aspects of his business life. Essentially, you will be the right hand individual to the Board Member and understand the demands on your time that this brings. Those who are able to manage a broad range of priorities and deadlines and remain calm and pragmatic under pressure, you will coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders effectively, whilst understanding when to push back.
The company is a global organisation, showcasing instantly recognised brands and you will represent the Executive Board member on a 1:1 basis, acting as the conduit between him and his team of Vice Presidents and C-suite senior colleagues. This role is all encompassing as the principal travels constantly, often on multileg trips across the globe, and therefore he requires 24/7 support.
Organising Town Halls of up to 2000 attendees globally, Board meeting logistics and preparation, Pitch decks and PowerPoint presentations with last minute additions, all fall under the responsibility of the Senior Executive Assistant. However, you will be supported by a colleague who will provide content and branding documents, as this is a large part of the overall role. The Executive Board Member expects the very best from his team and although highly demanding, he fully supports them in a crisis. In an emergency scenario he relies heavily on his EA to solve problems and care for his team, whether it be a personal matter or a sudden change in business priorities.
Requirements:
The role demands a highly skilled EA, able to navigate a range of daily demands, yet remain calm in a crisis. To be successful you will already support those at a C-suite level within a complex global business and an ever-changing environment. Daily re-prioritising, exceptional communication and written capabilities, motivation and energy are all needed here. Emotional intelligence, influence and solutions driven, the Senior Executive Assistant needs to be a fully dedicated and organised person who has already supported those at a C-suite level for the past 5 years as a minimum.ABOUT THE COMPANY
