JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Seniorr Electrical design Engineer
Permanent position
Note : Qualified Candidates who are based in the UAE and would like to move to UK
Duties:
• Contribute to the overall planning process by providing specialist advice and input on specific projects or provide input on design strategy and conceptual design relative to electrical installations
• Develop electrical design solutions
• Design electrical installations including the production of design drawings and diagrams, to relevant British Standards and, Building Regulations
• Advise on low carbon and environmentally sustainable options and solutions
• Prepare specifications and design stage reports
• Ensure compliance with current legislation, relevant planning and health and safety regulations as well as best practice
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of practical experience working as a Building Service
• Electrical Design Engineer
• Provide coaching and support to Junior Engineers and the BIM Team
• Proficient in Revit and have experience of using DIALux Calculation software
• Experience of using Amtech calculation software
