WSP are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer, with over ten years’ to join our building services supervision team in UAE.
The key objectives of the role are to;
• Monitor and ensure that all HVAC ,Fire Fighting, and Public Health site activities are conducted in accordance with approved shop drawing, specification and installation procedure and material storage procedure is properly implemented.
• Prepare and implement inspection and test plan based on project specifications, codes and standards.
• Conduct inspection of all HVAC ,Fire Fighting, and Public materials, equipment testing as per applicable Standards.
• Coordinate with contractors team to advise on execution of the work.
• Ensure that health and safety is embedded into all work practices in line with the company policies.
• Estimate, prepare and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, equipment, , etc., required for all building services and related works prior to execution.
• Submit site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
• Pre-resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems at site that may arise at any time
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction supervision of MEP Services on major building services projects in the Middle East.
• BEng / BSc (Hon) or equivalent degree
