Senior Engineer - Safety Compliance for Energy/Power (Arabic Speaking)
We are hiring a Senior Engineer – Safety Compliance (Water & Power) for a leading organization in the energy sector. The role focuses on ensuring operations meet safety regulations, conducting audits, and improving safety management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain safety compliance programs.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Improve safety policies, risk assessments, and procedures.
• Communicate and implement safety requirements across the company.
• Train employees on safety practices and compliance.
• Prepare incident reports and ensure timely reporting.
• Identify opportunities for improving safety measures.
• Maintain records of safety audits, inspections, and training.
• Ensure performance aligns with company goals and safety standards.
• Support Emiratization initiatives and employee training programs.
• Supervise and guide employees in safety-related tasks.
• Develop and improve safety-related policies and procedures.
• Promote innovation, sustainability, and compliance with excellence standards.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
Experience:
• With a Bachelor’s degree: 4 to 8 years of experience in safety compliance.
• With a Master’s degree: 2 to 4 years of experience in safety compliance.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in safety management tools.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and training abilities.
Language Requirements:
• English: Required
• Arabic: Required
