JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
This is a superb opportunity for a senior candidate to assist an UHNW Principal and family, as he develops his family office structure and navigates the next phase of his life. He has a superb reputation, and his company has experienced stability and growth not just across the region but also internationally.
This really is the role for the adventurous and highly committed individual. No day will be the same and you will be completely immersed in the business management and personal life of this Principle and young family.
You will need to be prepared for every eventuality, ranging from last minute changes in schedules to on-the-spot event glitches, to high-spec presentations within minutes, to problems with the property! Above all, the role demands core business understanding as you will be involved with senior level meetings with various internal and external stakeholders across the company including group investment and corporate banks, internal and external legal counsel and board members.
This role supports a Principle who is continuing to grow both his company as well as external business interests. He is a dedicated and highly energetic gentleman, whose life runs at 100 miles an hour, and as his assistant you need to be always one step ahead of him and have an awareness of international operations. As the gatekeeper to his office, you will keep a very strict and structured diary and closely interact with other team members and strategic partners to ensure the best use of his time. You will support him on the move, managing all travel arrangements, provide detailed itineraries, briefing notes and reports.
Additionally, there will be family support, including household staff oversight, research on family holidays, property management both at home and abroad, personal shopping, events and adhoc projects.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate experience at being able to pivot quickly from corporate to personal support and back again, strong commitment to delivering excellence, demonstrating good judgement, and understanding the importance of anticipating and proactively supporting needs. Our client is specifically seeking candidates who have had previous senior level exposure to an international business leader and ideally with Family Office understanding. Candidates will possess English as a first language and a Bachelor’s degree is essential from a well-recognised University.
A sense of humour and the willingness to do ‘whatever its takes’ is vital, plus candidates at this level will appreciate that this is a 24/7 role. However, this is a partnership and loyalty, and commitment are highly valued by our client and are rewarded as such.
