Synopsis
Carries out schedule and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of vehicles (light and heavy) and equipment such as ground power units, towing tugs, air supply units, etc. in order to provide a safe, reliable and cost effective equipment to the end user
Accountabilities
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that compliance to health, safety and environment regulations on the care and handling of equipment and ensure adherence to manufacturer standards
- Identifies faults and defects and performs repairs utilising reference materials such as drawing and wiring diagrams and schematics and technical publications
- Ensure that all documentation required related to work is completed and signed and properly archived
Education & Experience
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High school plus 2 years work experience or a degree with no prior relevant experience required
- Relevant technical training certificate required
