JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse is working with a Global Organisation within Maritime to assist with the recruitment of a Senior HR Advisor. This position will see you supporting the Middle East business from their Dubai office as well as handle global recruitment for the business. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of Generalist HR experience with a strong focus on recruitment.
This diverse HR role will take on a range of responsibilities within the Human Resources function including but not limited to, operations, recruitment and onboarding as well as handling the full employment lifecycle of employees.
This is a senior role that will take on responsibility for employee relations and performance management in the Dubai Office, whilst handling Global Recruitment across 7 countries, reporting to the Group HR Manager.
The suitable candidate will have generalist experience having worked across all areas of HR and will be comfortable being the main point of contact for the team, therefore, it is key to be an approachable and personable individual.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with excellent knowledge of the UAE labour law and a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the Middle East. Strong experience in HR preferably within Oil & Gas, Engineering, Shipping or a similar sector will be beneficial for this role. The candidate must have a professional and personable approach with attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
Handling diverse and confidential situations with confidence whilst multi-tasking under demanding deadline is key to succeed in this role. Due to extensive correspondence with the overseas office, candidates must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
