JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Serve as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Manage the day-to-day HR operations, including handling employee records, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
• Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and participate in the recruitment process.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
• Administer and track employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
• Handle employee relations matters, addressing concerns, conflicts, and providing mediation when necessary.
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in areas such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.
• Implement and manage employee training and development programs to enhance skills and promote professional growth.
• Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring policies and practices are in compliance.
• Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of an HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to streamline data management and reporting.
• Support the organization's diversity and inclusion initiatives by fostering an inclusive workplace culture and addressing any diversity-related challenges.
• Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Act as a mentor and resource for junior HR team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Work closely with legal counsel when necessary to address employment-related legal matters and ensure compliance with labor laws.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HR generalist roles, demonstrating expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of effectively managing and mentoring a team of HR professionals.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, coupled with the ability to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements.
• Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS utilization and leveraging technology for streamlined HR processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
