JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Specialist to join our team in the vibrant recreational facilities industry. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, enhance employee engagement, and support organizational development. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Provide support to the HR manager.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Oversee performance management processes and support managers with employee evaluations.
- Organize employee engagement activities and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, handling employee relations and grievances effectively.
- Perform quarterly & annual employee performance reviews.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, laws, and compliance standards in the UAE.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with HR operations including hiring, payroll and employee benefits
