JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our real estate development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury residential, commercial, or mixed-use interior design and will be responsible for leading design projects from concept to completion. This role requires excellent design sensibility, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the interior design process for high-end residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Develop and execute innovative design concepts that align with the company’s vision and market trends.
• Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures to ensure quality and budget alignment.
• Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications for construction and procurement.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of interior spaces.
• Conduct site visits and provide design direction during construction phases.
• Research and integrate sustainable and innovative design solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team development.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in interior design, preferably within a real estate development or architecture firm.
• Strong portfolio showcasing luxury residential, hospitality, or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
• Deep knowledge of materials, furnishings, and finishes with strong vendor relationships.
• Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
