Our team partners closely with stakeholders across every part of the business, combining traditional audit discipline with innovative, data-driven methods to build a stronger, more resilient organization for the future.


What you'll do

  • Plan and execute end-to-end audit projects in accordance with the internal audit plan.
  • Develop audit scopes, perform risk assessments, and identify key control areas to evaluate.
  • Utilize data analytics, SQL, and emerging AI tools to enhance audit efficiency, automate testing, and identify patterns or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with business units to assess process risks, recommend control improvements, and monitor remediation progress.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the audit methodology, tools, and documentation standards.
  • Participate in special reviews, investigations, and advisory projects as required.
  • Prepare and present high-quality audit reports with practical recommendations to senior management.
  • Track, validate, and report on the implementation status of audit findings, ensuring agreed actions are completed effectively and within defined timelines.
  • Stay updated on evolving risks, technologies, and industry trends relevant to Careem’s business lines.

  • What you'll need

  • A strong analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a sense of ownership to drive audits and initiatives independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk advisory.
  • Experience in Big 4 firms (in internal audit, risk advisory, or technology risk) or in a tech-driven or regional enterprise is highly preferred.
