What Will You Be Doing

As a Senior Inventory and Merchandising Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product assortment strategy, maximizing sales revenue, and ensuring optimal stock levels.

You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end merchandise management process, including demand forecasting, inventory planning, assortment optimization, and analyzing sales data to drive actionable insights. Your expertise in predictive analytics and trend analysis will be vital in identifying opportunities to enhance our product offerings and meet customer demands effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Styling, Marketing, and Operations, to develop and execute merchandise strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Utilize predictive analytics to forecast demand, sales trends, and customer preferences, enabling accurate inventory planning and assortment optimization.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory turnover rates and minimizing overstock or stockout situations.
- Conduct thorough sell-through analysis to identify best-selling products, slow-moving items, and opportunities for markdown optimization.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that reflect market trends, competitive positioning, and maximize profitability.
- Drive the development and execution of promotional activities to enhance product visibility and drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and maintain strong partnerships for sourcing and procurement.
- Generate regular reports and presentations on sales performance, inventory levels, and assortment effectiveness for presentation to senior management.
- Lead a team of merchandising professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in merchandise management, demand planning, inventory assortment, and sales analysis within the fashion or retail industry.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and predictive modeling techniques to drive strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional understanding of retail math, inventory metrics, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to various stakeholders.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for fashion trends and a deep understanding of customer preferences.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, including inventory management systems, Excel, and data analytics platforms.
