JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A prestigious family office is seeking a Senior Investment Operations Specialist to join its Investment Team based in Abu Dhabi. This full-time position offers a dynamic opportunity to work closely with the Chief Investment Officer and senior stakeholders, ensuring the seamless execution of investment transactions and operational processes across a multi-asset portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily trade settlements, cash flow activities, and reconciliation of investment accounts
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, holdings, and asset allocations
• Generate portfolio performance reports and provide insights to the investment team and CIO
• Track income and yield targets and support performance assessments
• Resolve trade and valuation discrepancies by coordinating with banks, custodians, and service providers
• Support operational workflow improvements, policy development, and systems enhancements
• Contribute to investment operations projects aimed at optimizing technology and process efficiencies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s or CFA/CAIA/FRM in progress is preferred)• 4–5 years of relevant experience in investment operations, global markets, private equity, or portfolio management
• Background from buy-side institutions is highly desirable
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for financial data management and reporting
• Familiarity with financial platforms, databases, and investment systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
