JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
POSITION OVERVIEW
The IT Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including desktop computers, laptops, network systems, ERP software, and cloud-based servers. This role ensures the smooth operation of all IT systems and provides technical support to end-users across all office locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
System Administration & Maintenance
• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices across all office locations
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and data security across the organization
• Administer cloud servers hosted in branch locations and manage cloud infrastructure
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security upgrades
Network & Infrastructure Management
• Manage local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) across multiple sites
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure network security
• Implement and maintain firewall, antivirus, and security protocols
• Ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and functioning
• Manage VPN and remote access systems for office staff
Technical Support & User Assistance
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly
• Train users on new systems and software applications
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
• Provide technical support for ERP system users
• Troubleshoot ERP-related issues in coordination with the software vendor
• Manage user roles and permissions within the ERP system
Mobile Device Management
• Manage company-issued mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) for office and field staff
• Configure and provision new mobile devices with required applications and security settings
• Provide technical support for mobile device issues including connectivity, software, and hardware
• Maintain inventory of mobile devices and manage device lifecycles
• Coordinate with mobile service providers for data plans and device repairs
Security & Compliance
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments
• Monitor and prevent unauthorized access to company systems
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive business data
Vendor & Equipment Management
• Liaise with IT vendors and service providers
• Manage IT equipment procurement and lifecycle
• Negotiate service contracts and support agreements
• Track IT assets and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
Job EvaluationREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience as an IT Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Experience managing ERP systems or enterprise applications
• Proficiency with network administration and cloud server management
• Knowledge of cyber security best practices and data protection
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery procedures
DESIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
• Com0pTIA A+, Network+, or similar IT certifications
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Customer service orientation
• Willingness to travel between GCC locations as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Standard office hours with flexibility for system maintenance during off-hours
• Occasional travel to branch locations in Abu Dhabi, Dammam, and Doha
• On-call support may be required for critical system issues
• Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
