JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Specialist to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems and infrastructure, with a proven track record of managing complex IT projects and providing strategic IT support. The Senior IT Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our IT systems and providing expert guidance on technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- IT Systems Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Technical Support: Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Security: Implement and maintain robust IT security measures to protect organizational data and systems from cyber threats.
- Compliance: Ensure that IT operations comply with relevant local regulations and industry standards.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT roles, with a focus on systems administration, network management, or IT project management in the UAE.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.

Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, network architecture, and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Salary:
AED 8,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
