Senior Lifting Manager (Senior Appointed Person)
Salary 45,000 AED Per Month Plus Flights & Medical
40 Cranes, 12,000 Manpower, 60,000 Pre-cast elements, 500,000m3 concrete& 1,000,000 + of bulk earthworks.
This is a MAJOR Project! Role will lead & manage all cranes & lifting activities for this Major Project in Dubai. Total build cost will top 4 Billion AED + ( £800Million ).
Can you pull on lessons learnt from Major Projects – Airports, Shopping Malls, Hotels and other MAJOR Construction Projects (15 Cranes +).
Essentially you will be the Conductor of the Orchestra as you sequence all lifts, passes, inspections, method statements & lifting team On a day to day there can be in the region of 300 + activities all effecting the master plan and success of the project. One element slips and the knock on effect is negative to the site. You will understand the importance of safety, time keeping and ensuring that Lifts are done safely and correctly.
Aspects that fall under this role (but not limited to)
• Provide technical oversight on crane positioning, load analysis, and rigging gear selection
• Lead incident investigations involving lifting operations
• Ensure all lifting crew certifications are valid and compliant
• Experience with CAD-based lifting plans or planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, Crane CAD)
• Knowledge of local and international lifting standards
• Deep understanding of lifting operations, crane types, load charts, and risk assessments

A dotted line into the Senior Logistics Manager & Project Director on site. As the Senior Lifting Manager you will provide:
• Training – up skill and develop your team through training, education and safety drills
• Compliance – lifting plans, risk assessments & lifting regulations (B27121 & LOLER)
• Planning – support pre-construction
• Stakeholder coordination – liaising with engineers, project managers , working with safety & logistics team
• Reporting, Documentation & Record keeping
Requirements:
• Clear strength as a Senior Lifting Manager for 4-5 Years ideally• Strength handling heavy lifts
• NEBOSH Certificate
• CPCS Appointed Persons : Lifting Operations A61
• Train the trainer
• LEEA , NPORS , OSHA
• Does your CV show loyalty, career progression and success
• Able to commence employment before the 1ST of September
• Confident, calm and assured in your communication style
• This is a 6 Day working week on site and you will be expected to manage your diary to ensure the project is a success so some months this will be a 6 day week and others an eleven day fortnight (5/6) it really depends on the success and productivity of your team. You will be expected to set the example for those to follow.
• On top of the 45,000 AED Package you will have family medical, visas , gratuity , performance bonus & bonus related travel covered

40,000 to 45,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
