JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Edge Resourcing is searching for a Senior Management Accountant for one of the business units of our highly entrepreneurial client in Dubai.
The business typically attracts high-flyers with a can-do attitude and top communication skills.
The successful candidate will:
• Ensure that all accruals and sales invoices are provided to Financial Accounting as per month end reporting timelines.
• Ensure all credit notes requests from clients are evaluated and justified before being signed off by the Group Finance Director.
• Coordinate with Financial Accounting team to ensure that the monthly management reports are duly analysed and circulated on time.
• Prepare Business Unit wise variance analysis explaining the reasons for major movements in revenue & expenses between budget, actual and previous month.
• Evaluate the profitability of contracts/customers.
• Highlight areas of improvement within the Business Unit from a cost control perspective.
• Closely work with Business Unit Heads to complete Business Unit wise Annual Budget & Quarterly Forecasts.
• Support Business Unit Heads by providing accurate management accounting information for pricing decisions.
• Prepare financial justification for all capital expenditure proposals submitted by Business Unit Heads.
• Adhoc reports and analysis as required by the Management.
• Manage all day-to-day financial activity requirements of the Business Unit.
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified Accountant, preferably in a Management Accounting discipline (CMA or CIMA)
- Strong experience in management accounting (budgeting, forecasting, analysis).
- Strong CV, having worked for other big multinational companies.
- Excellent EXCEL skills (v look-ups, pivot tables etc)
Location: Dubai, UAE. Only candidates in the UAE will be considered.
Salary: AED 18-20k
