JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

This role will focus on procurement and supply chain matters, including the drafting, review and negotiation of various contracts. The key responsibility will revolve around identifying and mitigating key risks related to the company's business areas.

Client Details

The client is a global industrial solution provider within the aerospace industry based in Abu Dhabi.

Description

* Conduct reviews of various contracts, including purchase agreements, MRO contracts, supplier agreements, service contracts, subcontracting agreements, JVs and licensing agreements
* Take sole responsibility for handling Procurement and Supply Chain tenders
* Support for over-spill of commercial contract matters
* Act as a key legal advisor to internal stakeholders on legal matters related to procurement and supply chain activities
* Coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain and other relevant departments
* Ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and facilitating the organisation's operation in the areas of procurement and supply chain management.

REQUIREMENTS

* Law degree with common law qualification
* 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice
* Experience in an in-house legal position with focus on procurement matters, or in logistics with established experience handling legal matters related to procurement, supply chain, logistics and tenders
* Excellent drafting skills with proven track record handling commercial contracts and legal documents
* Preference to candidates with on-the-ground experience
