Description
- Responsible for developing and implementing corporate strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
- Identifies and evaluates potential M&A opportunities, conducts due diligence, and leads integration efforts.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute transactions and maximize value.
- Provides strategic guidance to senior management, monitors industry trends, and continuously improves processes for optimal results.
- Develop and implement comprehensive corporate strategy aligned with organizational goals and market trends in coordination with the leadership team.
Specific responsibilities:
- Identify potential M&A opportunities that support business growth and expansion into new markets or sectors.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to evaluate potential target companies and assess their strategic fit and financial viability, overseeing junior analysts in the process.
- Lead due diligence processes for M&A transactions, including financial analysis, legal review, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute M&A transactions efficiently and effectively.
- Develop integration plans to ensure seamless integration of acquired companies and realization of synergies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of acquired businesses post-transaction, and make strategic adjustments as needed.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders on M&A opportunities and corporate strategy.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments that may impact strategic decision-making and M&A activities.
- Continuously improve processes and methodologies for strategy development, M&A evaluation, and integration to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:
- Currently based in UAE- 6-8 years experience in PE or Corporate M&A (buy-side experience is mandatory)
- Specific sector experience in energy, chemicals, natural resources etc. would be preferred
- MBA or CFA preferred
- Key Skills: Strategic thinking, financial acumen, communication skills, project management, interpersonal skills.
