JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager Regulation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electricity and/or water regulation, with a focus on revenue caps and customer tariffs in the Middle East.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement regulatory strategies and policies for electricity and water regulation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
• Manage and analyze regulatory data to provide insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment with regulatory objectives.
• Represent the company in regulatory forums and discussions.
• Prepare reports and presentations on regulatory issues for senior management.
• Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory changes on the organization.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as engineering, economics, or law. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Extensive experience in electricity and/or water regulation, particularly with revenue caps and customer tariffs.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the Middle East.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record of managing regulatory projects and initiatives.
