JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client a specialist critical infrastructure consultancy focusing on MEP & IT Design & Consultancy require a Senior MEP Engineer for their expanding Dubai office.
Key responsibilities shall include:
• To manage projects from concept design to commissioning and testing
• To manage a team of MEP Engineers on data center projects
• Produce concept designs for Data Center MEP Systems
• Produce relevant engineering calculations for MEP Design in Data Centers
• To produce MEP specifications
• Carry out site surveys
• Carry out commissioning and testing of MEP systems in data centers
• Provide technical support for incoming inquiries and queries
• Keeping in regular contact with existing customers
• Prepare and analyze tender bids, proposal and quotations
• Evaluate client inquiries, specification and drawings
• Attend client, supplier and third party meeting on and offsite as necessary
• Work both within office environment and onsite
REQUIREMENTS
To apply for this role you should meet most of the following criteria:
• Be educated to Degree Level in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or similar
• Have a minimum of between 7 and 10 years MEP experience
• Have recent experience completing multiple data center projects
• Have a sound knowledge of and experience in both MEP design & commissioning/ testing
• Be able to manage projects and more junior staff members
• Be fully IT Literate with proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Be able to use engineering software such as AutoCad, Revit, HAP, IES & Amtech
