Major Accountabilities:
- Supervise the planning function during design and/or construction stages of assigned project/projects.
- Prepare initial network of activities in simplified form for project programme.
- Maintain critical path diagrams and computer analysis of programme to ensure project target dates are met.
- Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for project management and client review.
- Supervise and develop other planning and specialist support staff at home and/or field office locations.
- Establish and maintain activity level integration between P6 and Project Management Reporting tool.
- Maintain the current and baseline schedule, analyze the effect of proposed changes and maintain the baseline change control authorization process
- Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the middle east environment.
- Safety - Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Qatar Location. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required
Job Specific Knowledge:
- Knowledge of workflow of deferent stages of Engineering and Construction
- Industry Specific Experience:
- Relevant industry planning/scheduling experience.

- Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure HSE requirements.
- Demonstrate behavior and business practices commensurate with a culture of world's best health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to:

- Identify and report work hazards and incidents.
IT Skills:
- Knowledge of Primavera P6
Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Any bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Relevant industry experience - understanding of the engineering environment and associated deliverables.
- Familiarity and knowledge of project control database methods (specifically InControl).
- Excellent organizational ability and effective communication across all levels of staff.
- Progressive attitude to move with technological advances and continually improve procedures.
