JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA / QC Officer to join our team in the energy industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of all processes and policies within the organization. This role will be based in our Abu Dhabi office, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic industry.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any quality issues or non-conformities and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Work closely with business support and operations teams to establish quality control measures and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update quality documentation and records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid quality issues in the future.
- Work closely with the Management/CEO in establishing the company process in line with the company's goal and standards.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with a focus on quality management or assurance.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the energy industry or logistics company is preferred.
- With a strong understanding of quality control standards and practices.
- knowledgeable in the ISO/IMS Standards.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and compliance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards in the energy sector is an advantage
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in quality management software and MS Office applications.
