JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee post-contract commercial and cost management activities.
• Evaluate and manage contract variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and financial obligations.
• Prepare and review progress payments, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
• Conduct risk analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve disputes.
• Assist in contract negotiations and provide strategic commercial advice.
• Maintain records, reports, and documentation for audits and claims.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of UAE experience in quantity surveying.• Main contractor background (Tier 1 experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of post-contract functions, cost control, and claims management.
• Experience managing building projects valued at AED 1 billion or more.
• Proficiency in FIDIC contracts
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Salary:
AED
28,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
