JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Taylor Sterling is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) to join a leading consultancy firm in Dubai, UAE. Client is looking for a candidate with major hotel and fit out experience with international consultants in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare preliminary budget for given project stating clearly the terms and conditions
- Prepare Bill of Quantity
- Prepare tender documents
- Negotiate with Contractor to finalize final project value
- Evaluate any claim variations and execute same
- Monitor work program against cash flow
- Attend all technical meetings to monitor any extra work
- Prepare and evaluate completion statement and arrange payments
- Evaluate final account
- Prepare closing report
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying from a recognized and accredited university
- Minimum 7 years work experience - experience working on major hospitality and fit out projects in Middle East
- Fluent in English
- Preference for MRICS candidates and candidates who are currently based in UAE
